In 1976, Alpha Phi Omega was introduced by Eddie Edillor, Bernardo Banguerigo, and Jimmy Pimentel to the school of Cagayan Capitol College; also known as Capitol University. And the four pioneering batch were Joel Oliveros, Raul Gabales, Felix G. Wayan, and Lester B. Casiño.
From 1976 until 1993, all those brothers and sisters who survived those years were initiated by the neighboring and visiting chapters until on its 18th National Biennial Convention at Feliciano and Sons Convention Center in Zamboanga City dated May 27, 1995, the petitioning chapter was formally defended by Heldon Ray Saberola, Clint Django Pacana, and Dante Ocaya. And it was formally chartered as the Iota Omega Chapter.
On May 27, 2023, the 28th year anniversary of the beloved inner circle of loyal brothers and sisters was celebrated at Victoria Beach Resort, Bayabas, Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines.
The said celebration was spearheaded by Brod Monaim Guro together with Brod Jabalodin Alug and Sis Joan Moreno.
The said celebration has become the benchmark of the #OneIotaOmega project to gather all brothers and sisters into one circle of unity among diversity, tolerance among different pledge programs, and the pronómio (rights and advantage) of a brother or a sister.
Iota Omega believes that unity is not impossible, that supremacy is not difficult, dominance is very easy, and progress is exciting.
We should not forget that the #InnerCircleMuna project is the seed of the #OneIotaOmega project that independence of this chapter will soon to realized - Stable, Pressured, Tempered, Strong, and Admired.
May We Always Be! Stronger The Circle We!
