What is Friendship Games do?

In Philippine Culture & History, if any two or more individuals have a disagreement or feud, or truce which is difficult to settle, a mano y mano (hand-to-hand combat) is a commonly suggested form of solution. It is a gladiator-like contest conducted in open fields and whoever wins, claims supremacy among others.

And this kind of practice turns into violence resulting in deaths, physical injuries, and others. It is commonly known by any "frat boys" or "frat men" as rumbles.

Rumbles among fraternities started in the late 1950s when a certain member of a fraternity was beaten to death and a revenge cycle was passed from generation to generation of neophytes.

Alpha Phi Omega wants to close and dismantle the cycle of violent revenge among fraternities and these Friendship Games were created to change the violent history and make a new tomorrow in the face of men.
