What Makes Iota Omega Alumni Association Different From Others?

Updated: Mar 29, 2023

Most of the Chapter Alumni Associations rely on the residency of their members and the OFW Alumni members cannot actively participate even though they contributed financially to the association.

In the Constitution and By-Laws of our proposed Chapter Alumni Association, residency is no longer a hindrance. In spite of the residence of the alumni, they can actively participate the association; they can vote and they can be active officers as well.

The members were classified into two councils: The Cagayan de Oro Council and the OFW Council.

The Cagayan de Oro Council are members who are residing inside the Philippines and the OFW Council are members who are residing outside the Philippines.

Unlike other Alumni Associations, all their OFW alumnus can only contribute financially but they cannot vote nor participate in the candidacy of a certain office; but not here in our Iota Omega Chapter Alumni Association.
